CMFF26 (Creative Minds Film Festival 2026), presented by GMD'z Entertainment, marks the 3rd edition of the Durban-based international film festival dedicated to independent storytelling, emerging filmmakers, and student cinema. This year’s edition officially showcases 15 selected films representing 11 different countries, reinforcing the festival’s growing global reach and cultural diversity. CMFF26 continues to build on its mission of creating a meaningful platform where filmmakers can connect, share original voices, and engage in cinematic exchange between Africa and the rest of the world. Through screenings, industry engagement, and recognition of creative excellence, the festival strengthens its position as one of the fast-growing independent film platforms in South Africa while celebrating authentic storytelling across borders
