CMFF26 (Creative Minds Film Festival 2026), presented by GMD'z Entertainment, marks the 3rd edition of the Durban-based international film festival dedicated to independent storytelling, emerging filmmakers, and student cinema. This year’s edition officially showcases 15 selected films representing 11 different countries, reinforcing the festival’s growing global reach and cultural diversity. As Festival Web-Master at Creative Minds Film Festival, Lizwi Gumede is responsible for maintaining a reliable, up-to-date, and engaging website that supports the festival’s communications and operations. From implementing updates and troubleshooting issues to optimizing site speed and user flow, Lizwi helps ensure a smooth experience across devices. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality help elevate the festival’s visibility and impact online.
In his capacity as Festival Director, Buyani Gumede excels at crafting unforgettable experiences for festival-goers. His leadership ensures the seamless organization of all facets of our festivals, from initial concept development through to the final execution, making each festival a standout event in the cultural calendar.

Zenzele Mazibuko is the Festival Operations & Logistics Coordinator for Creative Minds Film Festival, responsible for ensuring the smooth, on-time delivery of festival activities across venues and teams. With a strong focus on planning, resource allocation, and on-the-ground coordination, Zenzele supports everything from scheduling and supplier management to set-up, transport, and day-to-day event operations.
